2008 Michigan Long Range Regional Championship Winners

Two-dozen competitors enjoyed the wind, sand, and powder smoke at our Long Range Regional this June.  In addition to a long list of Michigan regulars, we had shooters from several other states and Canada as well.

The weather gods threatened rain but relented and co-operated through the weekend.  On Friday, reading the wind was the usual Camp Grayling mystery, only to outdo itself on Saturday and Sunday.

Our big winner was Bryan Litz, who won both the two-day Regional Aggregate and the three-day Grand Aggregate.

 The gift of the weekend was a CONEX, allowing us to store our equipment on site.  I give a special thanks to Bob Lorenz, Ken Orris and the rest of the shooting crew who helped to set up the range as well as to Mike Ross, for calling the line.

 Our next Camp Grayling match is September 13 & 14. We shoot a Palma + bonus 1000 on Saturday and a 3x1000 on Sunday.  Mark your calendars.
