Thirty-eight competitors enjoyed a magnificent weekend at the 2011 Michigan
Long Range Regional. Both conventional "sling" and F-class shooters were well
represented. We were also blessed with a host of new shooters. Sixteen
shooters showed up on Friday to establish or reconfirm zeroes. Thanks to all who
helped set-up the range.
Saturday’s sign-up was full enough that we barely squeaked under the wire to
continue our valued tradition of three-man relays, a system that minimizes time
spent in the pits. Mike Ross proceeded to run a superb match. Thanks Mike.
The weather was tremendous, both Saturday and Sunday. The wind was light but
"Graying tricky" both days. Brats, potatoes, beer, and mysterious sauces
provided by Bob Lorenz and friends enhanced the Saturday evening festivities.
