Women’s, Junior’s and Club’s committee
Juniors competing in Long Range at Camp Grayling The goal of the “Women’s, Junior’s and Club’s committee” is to recruit and encourage women and juniors to participate in the shooting sports and to encourage local clubs to maintain women and junior programs. Also to have local clubs participate in state wide competitions. We also raise funds to help finance MRPA Junior teams that represent our State. The Michigan Rifle and Pistol Association's Small-bore Rifle Division is looking for clubs that have Junior programs. The plan is to organize state-wide competitions. Please e-mail Jerry Silvas with your club name, address, and contact info. The Michigan Rifle and Pistol Association's High Power Rifle Division is looking for clubs that have Junior programs. Both Across the Course and Long Range. The goal is to get juniors to participate in state-wide competitions. Please e-mail Jim Grissom with your club name, address, and contact info. If you are a local club that has a program that encourages women to participate in the shooting sports, please let us know about it by emailing Ann Proctor with your club name, address, and contact info. We want to compile a data base of programs available to juniors and women so that we can direct potential new participants as to where they can go and participate. Also to let clubs know of opportunities for juniors and women. |
